This webinar will examine:
Speakers include:
Dave Wasiura, District 4 Director for United Steelworkers, which represents manufacturing workers in the fossil fuel supply chain. He has first hand experience with the broader challenges and opportunities for his members as a result of the transition to cleaner energy sources..
Norman Rogers, Vice President of United Steelworkers Local 675 who was directly engaged in the effort in CA to win a $40 million pilot fund for dislocated oil and gas workers.
Todd E Vachon, PhD, Director of Rutgers LEARN and author of Clean Air and Good Jobs: US Labor and the Struggle for Climate Justice. His research focuses on strategies to create a unified labor and climate justice movement to achieve a just transition.
